Background information on FireGuardia with closed captions.

1. The first images show plastic being covered with two layers of FireGuardia coating. 2. The plastic is then placed over the hand and the propane torch is ignited. The heat reaches approximately 1900 °C | 3452 °F. 3. The propane torch is about 6 inches from my hand. 4. The top FireGuardia coating intumesces and signs of char begin to appear. 5. After 1 minute and 15 seconds under direct fire, the flame is extinguished. 6. The plastic bag is removed from the hand. 7. The top FireGuardia layer (yellow) charred and intumesced while the back of the plastic bag presented no sign of heat.

1. A piece of Styrofoam is protected with two layers of FireGuardia coating without an intermediate cooling layer. 2. A hand is under the Styrofoam. 3. A 1" wide by 1/4" in thickness piece of steel is placed on top of the protected Styrofoam. 4. An Oxyacetylene cutting torch that has a maximum temperature of 3,300° C | 6,000° F is applied directly to the piece of steel. 4. The Oxyacetylene torch uses a jet of compressed Oxygen (2,200 psi) that acts as the cutting medium. 5. The torch is in contact for 1 minute and 39 seconds until it pierces the steel. RESULT: The skin and hand under the Styrofoam suffer no harm.
