Heather has been professionally recognized for her passion and leadership abilities to drive mission-based companies that are proactively strengthening and protecting infrastructure, communities, and Earth's natural resources.
She brings over 20 years of experience as a corporate and market strategist from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. A proven leader who can build and motivate high-performance teams, build brand equity, drive accelerated growth, and impact commercial results. She’s an award-winning campaign manager with a unique career that spans the public and private sectors.
Heather was the Lyndon B. Johnson U.S. Congressional Scholarship Recipient and spent 10 years in national politics working on Capitol Hill and for several Presidential administrations, as well as serving four years as a political appointee on the Parks & Recreation Commission for the City of San Marcos in Southern California. She owned and operated an agency that introduced Starbucks to the U.S. and has orchestrated successful strategic programs for The Gap, PhRMA, and NEC.
Heather earned a Master’s degree from American University where she was profiled for her hypothesis that "social networks were going to be the most viable alternative for businesses to reach customers" and wrote her thesis on how satellites and IT were going to change the future U.S. Presidential elections. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona.
She leads the cross-functional operations and strategic execution of FireGuardia’s objectives.
